Dive school at MSAC offers lessons for beginner and developing divers from 6 years of age to 14.  Lessons are conducted by Diving Australia accredited coaches, and follow a series of skill-based classes focusing on fun and safety whilst also improving technique and confidence. During the lessons, divers will learn basic diving techniques including feet first and hands first entries, body position and spatial awareness, as well as being introduced to the fundamentals of physical conditioning. Most of the water work is off the side of the pool and low level springboards with dryland being introduced.

Term 4 Schedule and Fees 

In order to enrol in diving lesson participants will need to become a member of Diving For All (see membership tab above) 

Come & Try:  Weekly Come & Try opportunities @MSAC. Come & Try Membership is needed to participate in the session.  This is an introductory single-session membership for first time DiveSchool Divers

Whilst not mandatory, new divers are advised to do a come n try some sessions to be assessed and try the sport first.

Term 4 Dive School Fees & Costs

There are three costs to consider when participating in diving with Diving Victoria:

1. Annual Membership Fee: $100 (26/27 financial year, a recreational diver membership (at a minimum) must be held)

2. Term 4 Fees: $308-$344 

3. MSAC Entry Fees: Included in term fee

Diving Victoria follows the Diving Australia Levels Program, a nationally recognised pathway designed to introduce children to diving in a fun, safe, and structured way. From simple poolside jumps and forward rolls to dives from 1-meter and 3-meter springboards, your child will progress through 8 clearly defined levels, each building confidence, coordination, and technical skill.

Every level includes:

• 7 key skills tailored to your child’s stage of development
• Clear goals to keep them motivated
• A strong focus on safe technique and body awareness
• Official keychain recognising their hard work at the completion of a level
